GA-Rankuwa Queens and Shining Stars played each other in an intense game. Even with the challenges, the Queens won 1-0 against the Stars after having multiple opportunities during the heat of the match.
As part of Women’s Month, the two clubs played football on this date to acknowledge female athletes. Women’s Month offers us a chance to learn about our remarkable leaders, activists, and pioneers who have led the way to ensuring women’s achievements are recognized and cherished for future generations.
Both teams played well in the first half, but no one managed to score. The Shining Stars were short of reserves, so they couldn’t make substitutions during the game, which resulted in them losing.
As the game came to an end in the second half, Ga-Rankuwa Queens scored a goal that made it very challenging for the Stars.
“The score was 1-0 in our favor. As for us, it was an excellent experience, and we look forward to playing with many other teams outside of this region in the future.”
The Ga-Rankuwa Queens played well on Women’s Day, and supporters are looking forward to the next match, where they promise the team more victories.
