Pretoria Technical College (PTC) hosted the “Silent Voice” Actors on the 24th of March 2022, in launch their upcoming theater which is set to play at the State Theater, Ster Kinekor from the 25th march to the 17th April 2022. State Theater also gave away 4 tickets to students from PTC to attend the play. The show is directed by a great icon from Soshanguve, Aubrey Sekhabi.
“The play is about four guys pulling a heist that ends up going wrong, the name came about as the four guys were silently thinking to themselves, this play will reveal lot of things such as crime, betrayal and friendship” said Aubrey the director.
The show was shot live at the state theater in Pretoria, the starring are Presley Chwenegae also known as Cobrizozo, Boitumelo Shisana wa Sekgobela, Zenzo Nqobe and Tumelo ‘Don’ Mosenye.
The aim of this play is to educate, motivate and remind the youth of this country that crime does not pay. The actors who were present at PTC which is Zenzo Nqobe and Tumelo Mosenye agreed that despite the challenges that occurred due to the external factors such as covid and so on, internally the process was smooth because it was a group of friends doing what they love and also respected each other as professionals.
Zenzo also encouraged everyone who is interested in entertainment industry to go to School do well to gain knowledge and experience while Aubrey emphasized the fact that this is a different generational era so education is very important tool to have in this industry.
“I am very honored and happy to host event like this one with the country’s best actors, I hope they instill the love of acting to the students” said Webster, the PTC Campus Director.
The students were very inspired as they had the opportunity to ask their stars questions and take pictures with them.
