The MMC for human Settlements, Cllr Ofentse Madzebatela, along with MEC for Human Settlements and Infrastructure Development, Lebohang Maile, will be handing over 580 title deeds to beneficiaries in Soshanguve South Extension 4.
This initiative is a crucial aspect of the city’s commitment to prioritizing residents in service delivery, ensuring that they fulfill the promises made to the community.
Title deeds are immediately handed over upon the completion of new human settlements. However, a notable challenge arises with projects finalised many years ago, where beneficiaries may have changed their contact details or no longer reside in the city.

According to MMC Madzebatela, the city prioritizes the well-being of its residents, placing them at the forefront to ensure that their needs are met in accordance with its mandate.
“As a city, we maintain our commitment to positioning our human settlements programs as catalysts for significant economic growth.” Said MMC Madzebatela.
“My office will continue its collaboration with the Provincial government to unlock opportunities through our human settlements programme.”
Madzebatela has urged beneficiaries to come forward and claim their title deeds, highlighting that this proactive step is essential for qualifying beneficiaries to formalise their ownership and secure their tenure.
