Nzalo Careers conducted a career expo in Mabopane to help students enhance their leadership and job skills.
The organisation provides career development for high school students in grades 8 to 12. Through this program, students can apply to colleges while still in high school, increasing their chances of receiving study bursaries.
‘Career Expo Days’ are held in townships to educate students about different careers they can pursue. They believe that young people have the potential to improve their self-esteem and self-confidence when it comes to making career decisions.
Students participated in an event that educated them about life after high school. Feedback from students indicated that it was helpful and reassured them that they were going in the right direction.
Tshwane University of Technology and nursing-training institutions were accessible to the students. As of late, the Nzalo organization had not responded to requests for comment. The organisation, however, provides compelling reasons for focusing on the community since most underprivileged students reside there.
In this way, they ensure that students receive the advice and information they need to make the best professional decisions. Those who have received assistance from the organisation praise them on social media and express gratitude.
It is without a doubt that the Mabopane Career Fair, among others, was a great success. Providing learners with guidance and support in the best way possible is one of the main goals of Nzalo Careers.
