An official visit to the Tshwane Automotive Special Economic Zone (TASEZ) took place by the Tshwane Economic Development Agency (TEDA) along with its board members. A visit was made to obtain updates on the SEZ’s progress.
A discussion was also held regarding strengthening the relationship between TEDA and the SEZ.
Anjue Hirachund, board chairperson of TEDA, was present, along with Kennedy Maimela and Jan Mocke, members of the board.
Board members also discussed ways to strengthen the relationship between TEDA and SEZ during the visit.
The Tshwane Automotive Special Economic Zone (TASEZ) also had the presence of the acting CEO of TEDA, Mr. Osiame Mokoena, its CFO, Mr. Zane Mheyamwa and executives from the Department of Trade Investment Promotions and Projects present.

These executives head up the business development and infrastructure departments at TASEZ.
“Also toured the Special Economic Zone to see ongoing progress on projects and infrastructure as part of our visit,” said TEDA.
The City of Tshwane and Tshwane Economic Development Agency (TEDA) signed a Service Delivery Agreement last year that commits TEDA to a series of objectives over the next five years.
The signing ceremony was held at TEDA’s Agribusiness Investment Recruitment Event as part of its committed deliverables. In the SDA, TEDA is committed to delivering in three sectors: agriculture, automotive, and innovative concepts/projects. The SDA is fully aligned with the economic development imperatives of the City of Tshwane.
