The Department of Labour has introduced ‘Best public employment services which are under Employment Services for South Africa helm, This is a recruitment database where work-seekers register for potential job opportunities.
Patric Rasebechele, Senior Employment Practitioner said that the Recruitment of young unemployed graduates is vital, the objective is to contribute to youth empowerment and enhancement of youth employability.
“We urge every South African to register in this database; we cater to everyone even domestic workers, skilled and unskilled workers. Everyone who wants to register should do so through this link www.labour.gov.za and then online services, from there you will find ESSA whereby you can put on your CV to be in a better position to be helped with your work preferences” added Rasebechele,
Youth who were present at the event were entertained by different educational activities which were aimed to help them not to give up on their dreams. Gauteng Gambling Board where also on a campaign to increase public awareness of problem gambling and the availability of prevention, treatment and recovery services.
