ActionSA has made it clear in public that the organisation will not rest until the matter of water Hammanskraal is settled.

The political party has gone out gun blazing taking up the fight to ensure the resolving of the water provision issues for the residents of Hammanskraal.

“ActionSA Tshwane Caucus is pleased to note the interest that has been shown by the Special Investigating Unit (SIU) in the Rooiwal Waste Water Treatment Plant”. Stated.

The Head of the SIU, Advocate Andy Mothibi has confirmed the interest of the SIU in investigating the matter of the payment of R94.1 million by the City of Tshwane, in advance, to the contractor for the Rooiwal Waste Water Treatment Plant, where impropriety is alleged.

On Friday 2022 members of ActionSA visited the Rooiwal Waste Water Treatment Plant to see first-hand what progress, if any, had been made and if the contractors were not on site.

“We can confirm that very little progress has been made since January 2022.  In addition, the contractors are no longer on-site”, said ActionSA

“ActionSA remains committed to resolving the water provision woes for the residents of Hammanskraal.  We will continue to pursue the matter internally until the concerns have been fully addressed.

“We will continue to pursue the matter internally until the concerns have been fully addressed.  The long-awaited report by the Executive Mayor on the matter will provide much-needed information” Added ActionSA
