Koketso Manamela said that she is a 37-year-old who was born in Mamelodi and grew-up in Mabopane. She currently hold a Diploma in Language practice and she is currently Studying Project Management. She is the people’s person, outspoken, outgoing and self-driven. She relates to people of all different levels, she like contemporary Jazz and supports local Music.
She further said that her inspiration to enter the Miss Curvybody came from the inspiration she has for modeling. The underlying dream of being an ambassador. The brand inspired her that beauty has no limits. No matter your body type, size, skin tone or height.
“I have always searched for pageants to enter and also found out from Kgaugelo Nkentshane former Miss Curvybody, Who entered the pageant back in 2019”.Young women and young kids must be confidence, have self-pride, feel comfortable in their own skin, and embrace skin tones, body shapes and body types. Self-love to women especially thick/ chubby women Miscurvy body restorespride and hope. Indeed giving hope to the society that you can be whatever you want. Stay true to yourself not copy the next person but to be your own brand.
She would to thank her friends, family and colleagues, she appreciates their support. Her message to the public is that “let us support, respect and refrain from calling each other names”. A remainder that people differ with different body shapes and body types. To refrain from bullying each other, body shaming and calling each other names.
The finale of Miss. Curvybody will be held at Pretoria State theatre on the 30th of April.
