The Rietgat SAPS continue to wage war against crime as they keep the streets of Soshanguve a crime free area. The station has arrested 45 suspects this past week, for various crimes. Out of the 45 suspects that were apprehended, eight of them were charged with committing malicious damage to property.

The other 37 suspects were charged with different charges ranging from murder to failure to appear before the Magistrate’s courts. The station is committed to doing their work and protecting the citizen of Soshanguve.

“I would like to extend my gratitude and appreciation to the members who continue to serve with pride and integrity. I also would like to thank the community without which we cannot win the battle against crime for their whistle blowing efforts” said Briagadier  Maphoto, the station commander.

Crime does not pay. The suspects will soon appear before the Soshanguve Magistrate’s Courts in due time
