According to a police statement released by Constable Peter Nhlanhla Zondi from Soshanguve Police Station it said that” the robbery happened on the 6th of March at 22:45pm at Macnose Café in Block K. The suspects were 3 wearing balaclavas, they apparently fired 3 gunshots and no one was injured”.
It further went on say the suspects only took properties amounting to R128 000 including a red Acer Laptop and money from the tills around the store.
A case docket was opened immediately after the incident apparently the suspects were on foot immediately after the robbery they went to the next block which is Block M by foot and disappeared there.
“No arrests have been made so far our detectives are still tracing the suspects, their still investigating”.
The pub later released a public statement on Tuesday morning which assured the customers that their safety remains a priority to them and it is for that reason they have decided to bolster their security so that they can meet the delicate request of their customers. They also assured customers that they have measures in place to make that the similar incident does not repeat itself.it said.
