An inquest case is under investigation by the Soshanguve Police Station following a lifeless body of a woman that was found in Block VV East of Soshanguve this morning.
Preliminary investigation suggests that the woman was residing at the address and she is presumed to be in her mid-50s.
The investigation further discovered that a passerby saw flies on the window panes and stopped a police vehicle that was also passing to help him decipher what he was seeing.
Subsequently, the police came to the house and broke down the door to gain entry and found the deceased lying in the bedroom. They also found contacts of her mother-in-law who came and identified her at scene.
Due to her state of decomposition, it was difficult to determine if there was any weapon used on the body. However the postmortem will determine the actual cause of her death.
It is also alleged that the deceased was married to a 50 year-old man who is alleged to have committed suicide in Block HH West of Soshanguve earlier today.
