A woman who was charged with the gruesome murder of Thabo Mosia has appeared in court in Ga-Rankuwa court recently.
A 43-year-old woman has been arrested for the murder of Mosia who was brutally stabbed to death over the weekend, this was according to Ga-Rankuwa police.
Ga-Rankuwa police spokesperson Shimi Tsheole has confirmed that a 43-year-old woman appeared at the Ga-Rankuwa magistrate court with a charge of murder.
This is after Thabo Mosia was stabbed to death on Saturday evening at Tsunami Ext 24.
Mosia was stabbed three times on the upper body, this after some heated arguments between him and his partner which is believed to be the one leading to his ultimate death, this was confirmed by Mosia’s neighbor
According to a neighbor, there was a squabble between the couple late into the evening and it resulted in the woman fatally stabbing Mosia. A source close to the family described the tense moments leading up to the murder.
“There was a noise in the house a few minutes earlier. The man had been asking the woman where she was from that night. I think alcohol was involved,” she said.
“After that she stabbed him three times and the man ran to the neighbor screaming that he had been stabbed. He died close to the neighbor’s house. They were having problems and the man had no longer been sleeping in the same bedroom as her. I just feel sorry for the kids because we don’t know what will happen since both parents are now gone.”
Ga-Rankuwa police spokesperson Shimi Tsheole remained mum on the progress of the case, further insisting that the police will only comment if there were any developments in the case.
“Let’s afford the investigation to take place,” he said. We will only update the public when there are new developments in the case. We should also do justice to the deceased by making sure that the matter is investigated properly.
“The matter is still under investigation. A 43 years old black female is arrested in connection to alleged murder of her partner at Ext 24,” said Tsheole.
Mosia’s murder adds to the two murder cases in the area, this after two people were found stabbed to death between Zone 20 and Ext 25 after being robbed.
Some of the angry residents have pleaded with the justice system to hand out the harshest punishment for the woman arrested in connection with Mosia’s murder.
