The Rietgat SAPS continues to put all hands on the deck by ensuring that crime is squeezed to zero and transgressors are put behind bars.
This comes after the station arrested and charged two men who were found in possession of an unlicensed firearm with serial numbers filed off and a toy gun after committing business robbery yesterday.
The two suspects in their early 30s were found in Block R.
Brigadier Molatelo Maphoto commended the men and women in blue for apprehending the two suspects. “I am very delighted for members who are heeding the call of combating crime and making sure that the streets of our policing precinct are cleared of bad elements,” said Brigadier Maphoto.
The two suspects will appear before the Soshanguve Magistrate’s Court in due course.
