One of the three female owners of the restaurant, Kgomotso Thebe explained how they have always wanted to host this kind of event in remembrance of the class of 1976, but this time with a different style.
Normally ‘June 16’ is commemorated by wearing school uniforms by the youth all over the country, but this year the narrative was changed profoundly, representing a milestone in South African history.
To honour and show them appreciation, Something Sosha Lifestyle in Soshanguve Block DD hosted and catered for the class of 2021 graduates freely, acknowledging their perseverance, long and tough journey given the 2019 Covid-19 Pandemic.
One of the three female owners of the restaurant, Kgomotso Thebe explained how they have always wanted to host this kind of event in remembrance of the class of 1976, but this time with a different style.

“The class of 2021 are a true inspiration to many. Despite everything being on a standstill, causing uncertainty at tertiary institutions and all the challenges they have come across, the class still managed to conquer through it all, “We are very big at giving support where it is due”Said Thebe.
Amongst the graduates was Ms Pertunia Hlongwane from Sefako Makgatho Health and Sciences University. She has just completed her degree in Nursing Sciences. Pertunia was flanked by her friend, Busi Sithole who also obtained a Bachelors in Nursing Sciences. They both gushed of how happy they were to be a part of this victory.

“This is the first time ever in Soshanguve to have someone who appreciates the graduates this much”, said Pertunia.
This event will give the youth a drive to go back to school because a graduation gown is the best accessory one could have.
The Something Sosha Lifestyle team will gladly accept every donation and sponsorship as they are planning on making this a year by year event▪
