Explaining how the partnership came about Williams said “We don’t have enough funds for all the programmes that we want to run, that’s why it is important for us, that we enter as government into partnerships with private businesses and community organizations. It’s only when we pull together all our resources that we make a dent in the fight against poverty our communities are experiencing at the moment, especially during Covid-19, with people losing their jobs.”

Max Prof Representative Ms. Pamela Phephe said “We as Max Prof have done a debt recovery review with The City of Tshwane, as part of our mandate what we do, we take a percentage of what we have recovered from the Municipality then gave it back to the community. Tshwane has given us a job and they have kept their promise. They have paid us; hence we are repaying them by giving back to the community. The mayor chooses the community, or whatever project he wants, but we focus more on education because we believe these learners are our future leaders.”

Jubilant School’s Principal, Mr. Meshack Molopyane showed gratitude to the whole event as all their promises were fulfilled and said “We had in the past been approached by different people and organisation wanting to donate but they made empty promises. You become sceptical when being approached but I persevered for the sake of our learners; I am very happy today because our dream has been fulfilled. Only selected needy learners from all grades were supplied with school uniforms. We approached The City of Tshwane Municipality which got the sponsorship for us
